Ocker Hill Infant and Nursery School provides a safe, stimulating environment where all children are emotionally healthy, successful lifelong learners who contribute positively to society.
Our Primary drivers for our curriculum are developing the love and confidence in reading, mastery in mathematics, exceptional use of assessment for learning, emotional wellbeing and language development. All of our beliefs are underpinned by research.
School Day
The school day for Nursery starts at 8.30am and ends at 11.30am for the morning children (Buttercups).
Afternoon nursery (Daisies) starts at 12.30pm and ends at 3.30pm.
All day Nursery (Bluebells) starts at 8.30am and finishes at 3.30pm
A School day for the main school starts at 8.45 am and ends at 3.20 pm. This equates to 32 hours and 55 minutes per week of compulsory school hours. Children who choose to access the Breakfast Club or any of our After School Clubs access increased hours.
Location
Ocker Hill Infant & Nursery School is a two form entry Infant school with a Nursery class that offers morning, afternoon and all day places. It is in Tipton, West Midlands and is a school in Sandwell Local Authority.
